Trust Your Instincts
Over the past 30 years, technological advancements have shifted society into the digital age. With that, the world has forever changed, pen and paper have been replaced by the latest tablets and phones. Studies have shown that the average western adult spends close to 10 hours a day on a variety of digital devices, a tenfold increase since the early 90’s.
Digital devices are incredibly useful, from work to leisure, our devices always present a viable solution to our needs. And while the positive effects are clear, the adverse side effects of prolonged use of digital devices are often left undiscussed and unattended too.
Research shows that prolonged exposure to digital devices, especially at night, can lead to poor sleep quality, eye strains, headaches and dizziness.
At Instincts, our goal is to provide our customers with a pair of frames that are made to last a lifetime and effectively filter out blue light. We take special pride in our quality. Everything we do from picking the materials of the frames to inspecting every little detail before shipment, is done to make sure the process on your end meets and exceeds expectations.
Instincts was the brainchild of two friends, where the two discussed all that was wrong with the current eyewear industry. High quality frames were overly marked up and out of the reach of the everyday consumer. Frames were ordinary and boring, and there seemed to be a clear lack of expertise and concern regarding the effects that screen exposure can have. They clearly saw that something was missing and wrong with the status quo, and by the end of the discussion the idea for Instincts was born.
